Threads of a City - Central Library Stitching Sessions

Join us for the "Threads of a City" stitching sessions at the Manchester Histories Hub, where you can be part of a vibrant community project that celebrates the rich stories and spirit of Manchester through textile art! 🧵✨ From October 5th to December 14th, every Monday from 1–4 PM, you’ll collaborate with others to create stunning tapestry panels that reflect Greater Manchester's heritage. No prior stitching experience? No problem! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a total newbie, you'll receive all the materials you need, plus guidance from friendly workshop assistants. Enjoy a cozy atmosphere with hot drinks and biscuits while you stitch away. Spaces are limited, so be sure to grab your ticket on Eventbrite. Regular attendance is encouraged, but don’t worry if you can’t make it every week—your fellow stitchers can pick up where you left off! Come and be a part of something special!
