The Story & Vibe

Join us for an exciting evening at WBUR CitySpace as we dive into the cultural phenomenon that is Bad Bunny! 🎶 Fresh off his Grammy win for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” and a show-stopping Super Bowl halftime performance, Bad Bunny is not just a pop star; he’s a voice for change, tackling issues like racial politics and LGBTQ rights while celebrating the rich rhythms of reggaeton. Moderated by Jazmin Aguilera from the Boston Globe, our discussion will feature insightful panelists including Petra Rivera-Rideau, co-creator of the Bad Bunny syllabus, and Wayne Marshall, an ethnomusicologist from Berklee College. Expect a lively conversation filled with music and video highlights that explore Bad Bunny’s impact on culture and society. Plus, you’ll have the chance to grab copies of Rivera-Rideau’s “P FKN R” and Marshall’s “Reggaeton,” both of which will be available for purchase and signing after the event. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate and understand the music that’s shaping our world!
