The Story & Vibe

Join us for the Scottish Church History Society's autumn conference on November 21, 2026, at the Grassmarket Community Project in the heart of Edinburgh! This year's theme, "Crucibles of Change in Scotland's Christian History," promises to dive deep into the transformative moments that have shaped Christianity in Scotland. Get ready to hear from Professor Scott Spurlock of the University of Glasgow, who will be delivering his presidential address titled "Ulster as a Laboratory for the Covenanting Revolution." Plus, if you’re passionate about this topic, we invite you to submit a proposal for a short, twenty-minute paper exploring key events or movements in Scottish religious history. Whether you’re a seasoned scholar or a budding researcher, your insights are welcome! Tickets are just £20, which includes lunch and coffee breaks, with a discounted rate of £5 for SCHS members and students. Come connect, learn, and share ideas in a vibrant atmosphere!
