The Story & Vibe
Get ready for a night of captivating sounds with Emancipator at Substation in Seattle! 🎶 Since bursting onto the scene in the mid-2000s, Doug Applin, known as Emancipator, has carved out a unique space in electronic music. His signature blend of downtempo beats, live instrumentation, and lush melodies creates immersive experiences that transport listeners to another world. This show is especially exciting as Emancipator is on the road for his "Chrysalis Tour," celebrating his first studio album in six years, dropping on September 26th. You'll hear his stunning new single "The Painted Lady," featuring the talented Kishi Bashi, and more! Joining him is his long-time collaborator Ilya Goldberg, also known as Lapa.
