The Story & Vibe
Join us for an enchanting evening at Circle Time, where the Great Hall in Wellington becomes a vibrant hub of sound and exploration, curated by the talented composer-artists Elliot Vaughan and Noel Meek. Kick off your night anytime after 7:00 PM with a self-guided installation that invites you to wander through a captivating collection of intimate works and performances. Take your time to soak in the atmosphere before we gather at 7:30 PM for a mesmerizing experience: Gordon Monahan’s Speaker Swinging, where speakers dance and create a stunning interplay of sound and light. Finally, at around 8:00 PM, settle in for a unique concert in the round featuring chamber music from Aotearoa and beyond, including a special new piece by Eve de Castro-Robinson. This evening promises a delightful journey through different ways of listening and experiencing music—don’t miss out! 🎶
